Are you looking for fitness, but not necessarily competition?
Are you interested in trying a new sport, but not sure where to start?
Would you like to build some basic skills in that sport before getting involved in competition?
If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, then a GSV Sports Skills Program might be just what you are looking for.
In 2016 GSV will offer skills development programs in:
- Diving
- Fencing
- Track Cycling

Term 2
Fencing
Five Saturday afternoon sessions from 3.30pm – 5.00pm
30th?April?- 28th?May, 2016 at the State Fencing Centre
Mel 2A E8
Fencing is a fun and energentic sport that incorporates agility and quick reflexes.
The sport also enhances fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. Students develop their skills and get the chance to compete against each other in a mini competition at the final session.

Term 3
Track Cycling
Five Monday afternoon sessions from 4.30pm – 6.00pm
Monday 1st?August – 29th?August 2016 at Darebin International Sports Centre
Mel 31 A6
Come and experience the thrill of track cycling at Australia’s fastest velodrome! Learn from Nationally accredited coaches – no previous track cycling experience necessary.

Term 4
?Introductory Diving Clinics
Four Friday afternoon sessions from 4.30pm – 6.00pm
7th October – 28th October 2016 at Methodist Ladies’ College, enter via Fitzwilliam St (Mel 45 E8)
Develop fundamental diving skills, including basic board work, hurdle steps and competition dives! Learn from nationally accredited coaches from Diving Victoria. No previous diving experience necessary.
